The plant operator's day-to-day job

The plant operator's day-to-day work is varied, and his or her main tasks are :

- Prepare parts according to production order

- Prepare the charges for the oven

- Select the appropriate treatment program, load and start the oven for treatment

- Monitor cycle parameters

- Perform the necessary checks

- Ensure traceability of processed parts

- Perform 1st level maintenance on installations

- Validate production steps on the production order

- Contribute to improving production processes

Requirements and qualifications

Vocational training (Bac Professionnel) with knowledge of metallurgy and/or mechanics.
