    parts undergoing ion nitriding treatment
What are the advantages of thermochemical nitrogen diffusion treatment?
The best-known thermochemical nitrogen diffusion treatment is nitriding. By promoting the formation of nitrides on the surface of metal parts, this process considerably enhances their resistance to wear and fatigue. This type of method offers numerous advantages, and is suitable for the vast majority of steels, even [...].

Which metals can be treated in a controlled atmosphere?
A heat treatment operation takes place in three stages, each of which involves different parameters, notably the duration of each stage, the temperature applied and the ambient atmosphere. When in contact with certain materials, the presence of a gas can trigger a reaction that modifies the chemical and physical characteristics of the parts placed in the heat treatment furnace.

Which metals can be treated in a controlled atmosphere?
    metal parts in various alloys
What are the different types of alloys?
Alloys are composed of several chemical elements, of metallic or non-metallic origin. They often have improved properties compared to pure metals, such as greater mechanical strength or resistance to corrosion. Often made from iron, copper, nickel, titanium or aluminum, they are materials in their own right, with improved mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion.

    induction-annealed parts
    What is induction annealing?
Annealing is one of the best-known heat treatments for metals. Induction, on the other hand, is a heating method based on the diffusion of an electromagnetic current transmitted by an inductor to the surface of parts. The combination of these two technologies is ideal for applying a localized annealing treatment to metal parts.
