Plastic injection coatings: the guide

PLATiN® coatings are designed to solve wear problems in plastic injection molding and non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and zamac. They offer high hardness, reducing mold erosion by abrasive materials such as glass fibers. Their low chemical reactivity limits plastic bonding, and their corrosion resistance protects against degradation by fluorinated or chlorinated materials. What's more, their low coefficient of friction eliminates seizure problems on moving parts such as rising wedges, ejectors and slides.
